At Buss we collect customer information so that we might reply to enquiries and discuss and organise projects. We do not cold call. We do not have a mailing list. If we send out a quotation and don’t hear back we may get in touch to make sure the information has been received but will not pester anyone who isn’t interested in our services.

Customers’ contact details (name, address, telephone number and email) are stored on our two computers, an iPhone and on iCloud – all of these are password protected. Information provided via the enquiry form on our website is also stored on the the servers of the site’s host (1&1) but within the confines of our password protected account. Completed enquiry forms are automatically sent to our main company email account, which is also hosted by 1&1.

We use a CRM (customer records management) service called Capsule to organise and store communications with our customers. This database contains the contact details of out customers along with copies of emails sent and received. This is a password protected service.

When someone visits we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We do not as a rule share information with anyone outside of Buss – the only possible exception to this might be if materials and hardware are delivered directly to a customer’s address but this is rare and would be agreed in advance.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Joel Marshall at
